Bodegas Cerrolaza, continues the tradition started years ago by the Cerrolaza family with the creation of a small winery attached to the family cottage in Hornos de Moncalvillo.
We are committed to a modern and first-class viticulture, applying the latest techniques aimed at achieving the best grape selection and quality, such as leaf thinning, green harvesting, specific pruning for each area and clone, manual harvesting, double vineyard/winery selection, etc…
The secret of the production of great wines lies in quality viticulture, combining a long tradition of several generations of winegrowers with the most modern winemaking technology. The result of this is a wine with its own identity, an expression of its unique vineyards.

CERROLAZA WINERIES & VINEYARDS
has more than forty-nine hectares of vineyards, distributed in various areas of Rioja Alta, forming a triangle with vertices in La Grajera (Logroño), Yagüe-El Cortijo and Hornos de Moncalvillo, our hometown.
The vineyards come from our family inheritance, and from new acquisitions that have been made, looking for additional locations with new varieties that enrich and add value to our wines. Among our estates, we have vineyards up to 80 years old, that we reserve for our most select and exquisite wines, combined with other younger and fresher plots that provide our wines with distinctive nuances.
